- Jab masala bhun jaey to timatar garam masala dal ke bhoonen.
- Bary Pately me pani sabit garam masala dal ke pani boil karein.
- Timatr mash hojaen to chany dal dein or jaefal jawetri b dal dein 10 mint halki anch pe pakaen.
- Phr bhoon lein oil a jaey to cholhay sy utar lein.
- Phr namak or Chawal dal ke boil karein chawal me halki kasar ho to chawal pasa ke pani nithar dein.
- Phr pately ke paindy me oil dal ke gress karein phr chawal dalen phr biryani ka tayar masala dal ke hara dhania hari mirchen dal ke wapis chawal dal dein.
- Pately ke nechy tawa rakh ke dum pe rkhen chawal ke uper kewry me zardy ka rang ghool ke dalen.
- 20 sy 25 mint dum pe rkhen lejiy mazedar chana biryani tayar hy.

In pot,add oil,onion and fry until golden brown,save half for later use. Add ginger garlic paste,cumin seeds,cloves,black cardamom,cinnamon stick and green cardamom,mix well. Add tomatoes,red chili powder,turmeric powder,nutmeg & mace powder,salt,star anise,dried plums, yogurt and mix well.
